The Luling Watermelon Thump Association honors our Veterans and active duty members of the Armed Services in a ceremony of remembrance each year. Beginning in 2002, former board member Delane Bassett proposed the idea of saluting our men and women in uniform. The event has taken place every years since. It has grown into one of the premier attractions of our Sunday slate of activities.
Make plans to join us at 2:30 pm on Sunday under the Thump Pavilion for this moving and well deserved tribute. Live Entertainment follows for a day of community enjoyment to wind down the 67th Annual Watermelon Thump.
